System implementation - 2019

Problem identified:

Lack of proper management tools and updating registration data, outdated way of collecting and analyzing data, incomplete road data.

Challenges / Objective:

Implementation of a system that provides up-to-date registration data on road infrastructure, which is also a tool for the analysis and integration of various types of data.

Solution:

As a part of the project, we proposed the implementation of the SmartGEM road infrastructure management system and a complete road lane inventory.
Measurement data was obtained using a mobile mapping system in the form of photo imagery and a 3D point cloud from laser scanning.
· Inspection data has been collected in the form of a GIS database.
Based on the collected information, it is possible to generate reports, summaries and thematic maps.
