Effective management of Electrical and Telecommunication infrastructure

We provide support for network infrastructure management by collecting and processing valuable data from our proprietary mobile mapping system: GIS data, road imagery and 3D point clouds.

Thanks to the provision of tailored information on the SmartGEM platform and the integration of data from various sources, our clients can effectively manage infrastructure, plan network development, manage its maintenance and constantly monitor the quality of the network infrastructure.

Network infrastructure management

Smart Factor performs an inventory of telecommunications and energy lines. We inventory the network mostly with the use of a mobile mapping system.

In the case of places inaccessible from the road level, we use drone inspections. The data is saved in the form of GIS data, 3D point cloud and road imagery.


As part of the service, inventory of electrical and telecommunication infrastructure are created. The information contained:

  • pole location
  • heights,
  • type,
  • material from which it was made

We also define the height of the cable sags, their number and the type of current lines.

Optical fibers

We offer an inventory of fiber optic infrastructure with the use of a mobile mapping system, as well as tools for automatic post-processing of the obtained data (LiDAR, road imagery, GIS).


Thanks to a detailed inventory, we are able to provide information on the existing fiber-optic infrastructure and indicate development opportunities, identifying newly created buildings.

Infrastructure maintenance supported by a comprehensive network inventory allows for constant monitoring and assessment of the existing state, while the measurement data provided by us about the field situation enable the selection of an optimal concept for the implementation of fiber optic projects.

Designing 5G networks

Smart Factor offers solutions that allow for the design and development of 5G networks, relying on digital 3D mapping of the terrain. Our priority is to provide reliable spatial data, including data from road lane imagery, 3D point clouds and GIS data.


Using of our data allows for analysis of important factors (such as land development, urban layout, greenery and buildings), which determine 5G infrastructure location.
